MACP 2008 Mid-Winter Training Conference

Exhibitor Registration Form
On February 4 and 5, 2009 over 500 chiefs, sheriffs and law enforcement personnel from across the state will convene at the 2009 MACP Mid-Winter Training Conference at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, MI. The MACP would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in this event by exhibiting and/or sponsoring events at the conference. The Mid-Winter Training Conference is our largest event, and in addition to those attending the conference, departments are encouraged to send representatives to the exhibits. Last year over 100 departments sent individuals just to view the exhibits. The Amway Grand Plaza always draws a huge crowd and 2009 should be no exception. Exhibition space sells out quickly for the Amway location so don’t delay in returning your registration. In 2008 we had to turn away over three dozen companies. Space sold out the first week in January.
EXHIBITING INFORMATION
Exhibit fees are $595 for a single booth and $995 for a double booth. Your fee includes:
· One individual registration for an exhibiting company. Individuals representing the same company are registered at no charge. Companies ARE NOT ALLOWED to share their booth with other companies. NOTE: Only one company name displayed per booth.
- Either a SINGLE BOOTH (ONE 8’ wide x 5’ deep booth, with one table and two chairs) or a DOUBLE BOOTH (TWO 8’wide x 5’ deep booths, two tables and four chairs)
- Admittance to all General Sessions, Hospitality Rooms, etc.
- Coffee and refreshments during General Session breaks. Coffee and refreshments will be located in the exhibit area only, so as to insure increased viewing of the exhibits.
- A 6-month listing as a Preferred Vendor on the MACP website www.michiganpolicechiefs.org. This is a $60.00 value provided free to exhibitors. The listing will provide your company name, address, phone, fax, website and a brief description of your product line.
SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION
Sponsoring companies are guaranteed a prime exhibit location and they are always graciously welcomed. MACP has four levels of sponsorships:
- PLATINUM: $2,000 Platinum Sponsors will have their photo on the MACP website for six months and will have a full-page recognition in the post-conference Michigan Police Chiefs Magazine.
- GOLD: $1,500 Gold Sponsors will have their photo on the MACP website for six months and will have half-page recognition in the post-conference Michigan Police Chiefs Magazine.
- SILVER: $1,000 Silver Sponsors will be given special recognition on the MACP website for six months and will have quarter-page recognition in the post-conference Michigan Police Chiefs Magazine.
- BRONZE: $ 500 Bronze Sponsors will be given special recognition on the MACP website for six months and will have a business card size recognition in the post-conference Michigan Police Chiefs Magazine.
In addition conference sponsors will receive the following (based on their sponsorship level):
- PRIORITY PLACEMENT of your exhibit booth, with a center location near all refreshments or other location of your choice.
- SPECIAL SIGNAGE at your booth indicating that you are a conference sponsor
- SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT in the Conference Program.
- ADVERTISING COVERAGE in the post-conference issue of the Michigan Police Chiefs Magazine. See details above
- SPECIAL CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP RIBBONS on name badges identifying your support of our conference to our members.

Exhibitor Registration forms should be returned to MACP with appropriate payment NO later than January 12, 2009. (NOTE: Registrations that remain unpaid after January 12th will be released. Registrations received after January 12, 2009 will be assigned space as available.)
